Ramzy Suliman – founder and CEO of Suliman’s Aviation and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. With over 30 years of experience in aviation, Suliman has an abundance of expertise with Warbirds, Corporate, Cargo and Airline. Ramzy’s standards are high when it comes to people, culture and management skills with exceptional focus on safety and both operational and financial performance.
Ramzy was instrumental in the startup of Rouge Airline at Air Canada in 2013. Additionally, he has overseen Aircraft Recovery, Emergency Response, International Line Maintenance and held key roles at (IATA) International Air Transport Association and (IATP) International Airline Technical Pool.
He oversaw all Line Maintenance activities on an aging fleet of B767 aircraft – which were expected to fly and perform at the level of new aircraft. This program significantly contributed to the overall performance of the award-winning airline.
Ramzy was a key stakeholder of Cargo Operations at Air Canada in 2019 during the COVID-19 pandemic. He spearheaded the creation and startup of a Loadmaster Training Program, which involved the conversion of passenger aircraft to cargo aircraft, enabling shipments of critically needed medical equipment and, in the process, provided a critical new revenue stream for the airline.
